EXXONMOBIL'S AVITAT RECOGNIZED AGAIN

FAIRFAX, VA—April 7, 2005.  Just days after Avitat was recognized as the best overall FBO chain by Professional Pilot’s PRASE survey, Avitat scored top honors in a similar survey conducted by Aviation International News (AIN).

For the third time in four years, Avitat was rated the best overall Fixed Base Operations (FBO) chain in the PRASE survey of general aviation pilots.  Additionally, six Avitats placed in the top 50 US FBOs, counting among them the number one FBO in the country.  Finally, on the international front, five of the top twelve FBOs were Avitat facilities.  Avitat was ranked above all other FBO chains based on a rating system covering key criteria including fast fuel, attentive CSRs, special services, and helpful attitudes.

Meanwhile, in the Aviation International News FBO Survey, there were 11 Avitats in the top 30—more than any other FBO network.  AIN asked each respondent to rate each FBO based on the following criteria: line service, passenger amenities, pilot amenities and service, and facilities.

“Having Avitat so well represented among the top FBOs is extremely satisfying to the ExxonMobil Aviation family.  Avitat places a premium on taking the very best care of their customers, and it’s great to see that pilots are taking notice.  Our philosophy, that there’s no such thing as a minor detail, is a credo we continually try to live up to,” says Herb Rusk, ExxonMobil Aviation's Global General Aviation Manager.  “It’s great to see we’re being recognized for that.”

Avitat and ExxonMobil Aviation-branded FBOs provide fueling and other services for corporate and general aviation aircraft, crews and passengers at more than 700 airports worldwide.
