FAIRFAX, VA--May 27, 2004. For the second time in three years, Avitat has been rated the best overall Fixed Based Operation (FBO) chain through a recent survey of general aviation pilots.
The survey, called PRASE (Preferences Regarding Aviation Services and Equipment), was executed by Professional Pilot Magazine and completed by 7,698 pilots. All survey results will be featured in the July issue of the magazine.
Avitat surpassed all other FBO chains based on a rating system covering key criteria including fuel quality, safe operations, attentive customer service representatives, special services and helpful attitude.
"To be recognized by pilots is particularly gratifying because it's this group who has the most day-to-day interaction with FBOs," says Herb Rusk, ExxonMobil Aviation's Global General Aviation Manager. "To earn this top recognition twice in three years is further validation that Avitats consistently deliver superior service in the general aviation marketplace."
Avitat, ExxonMobil Aviation-, Esso-, and Mobil-branded FBOs provide fueling and other services for corporate and general aviation aircraft, as well as commercial and military aircraft, at 700 airports worldwide.
