Kuwaiti students refine their knowledge at Fawley

Engineers at Fawley Refinery have introduced some of Kuwait’s brightest school pupils to the world of oil refining.

Eight winners of an ExxonMobil Kuwait science essay competition came to the UK on a five-day visit, touring Fawley Refinery as well as the more obvious landmarks in London.

The students from Bayan Bilingual School discovered the history of the refinery and learned about the process of oil refining and the distribution of oil throughout the world.

ExxonMobil Kuwait is an active supporter of engaging students in the fields of maths, science and analytical thinking, believing that investment in educational trips is crucial to the development of the leaders of tomorrow.

The company is also founder of the annual Kuwait Science Fair competition.
